Day 1 : Arrive in ChennaiWelcome to India. Arrive at Chennai Airport, the city of India’s southern gateway and proceed to your hotel. Later proceed to short city tour of Chennai, visit The Kapaleeswara temple, Santhome Church, Fort George and National Art Gallery. Overnight stay in Chennai.
Day 2 : Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram (Approximate 150 km/4 hrs by road)Early morning depart from Chennai for your onward journey to Mahabalipuram via Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram is one of the seven sacred cities of India, it famous for its thousand temples. Proceed to Mahabalipuram – a quaint town on the Coromendel coast known for its 7th century rock cut temples belonging to the Pallava dynasty on the sea shore. Arrive at Mahabalipuram and check into your hotel. Evening is at leisure to stroll on the sandy beaches. Overnight stay in Mahabalipuram.
