Day 1 : Paro – Thimphu (Approx 65 km/2 hrs)Arrive Paro & transfer to Thimphu capital of Bhutan. It is situated in a fertile valley traversed by the Wangchhu River. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. In the evening enjoy relaxing walk in the valley. Overnight stay in Thimphu
Day 2 : ThimphuToday morning proceed for the sightseeing of Thimphu visiting BBS Tower to enjoy an aerial view of the Thimphu Valley, Montithang mini zoo to see the rare “Takin” national animal of Bhutan. Then after visit Anim Dratshang (Nunnery), National Library, Paper Factory. Later in the afternoon visit the Memorial Chorten buitl in the memory of the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Then visit School of Art and Craft, Zangthopelri Lhakang and Handicrafts Emporium. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 3 : ThimphuThimpu – Trongsa (Approx 215 km/7 hrs)Today early morning proceed to Trongsa a small town meaning new village, also it is know for the ancestral house of the Royal Family of Bhutan. The route towards Trongsa offers magnificient views of Himalayas and beautiful landscapes through scattered hamlets and forest of rhododendrons and pine. Enroute visit Wangduephodrang and Pele la Pass. On arrival in the Trongsa transfer to your hotel. Late in the afternoon visit Trongsa Dzong and Ta Dzong. Overnight stay in Trongsa.
Day 4 : Trongsa – Bumthang (Approx 68 km/3 hrs)This morning proceed to Bumthang, valley lies at an altitude of 2600 metres. This valley is the religious heartland of Bhutan and home to some of the oldest Buddhist temples. Proceed for a sightseeing visiting the Jakar Dzong built in the year 1549, 7th century Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjey monastery, Tamshing and Kunchosum monastery. Overnight stay in Bumthang.
Day 5 : Bumthang – Punakha (Approx 210 km/7 hrs)Today proceed to Punakha, the valley, which lies admist snow capped mountain peaks, served as capital of Bhutan until 1955. On arrival in Punaka transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay in Punaka.
Day 6 : Punakha – Paro (Approx 130 km/4½ hrs)This morning visit Punakha Dzong built at the confluence of the Po and Mo Chu rivers in the 17th century by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel. The Dzong houses sacred artifacts and the embalmed body of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel. Later in proceed to Paro, the most beautiful of all Bhutan's valley, was also historically the centre of two of the most important trade routes to Tibet. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 7 : ParoToday morning proceed for Paro sightseeing visiting the ruined fortress of Drugyel Dzong, the fort defended the Paro valley from the Tibetan ivasion from from the north in the early 17th century. Then visit Taktsang Monastery, 'Tiger's Nest' situated 3000 feet above the valley floor. Later in the afternoon visit Paro Dzong, the National Museum housed in an ancient watchtower, which has the finest collection of Thankha Paintings the world over. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 8 : DepartureToday proceed to Paro Airport to board the flight to your hometown or next destination with fond memories to cherish for a lifetime. Tour Concludes!!
